Going back home after a tiring day, I just put on my Ipod on shuffle, and what comes up — Curtis Mayfield. Is this funky soul or what? Best known for “Pusherman”, “People Get Ready”, the track I love most is “Gimme Your Love” — great strings, sugary voice, and blaxploitation at its best.
